City of Moore to Host Fitness MBA Summit

MOORE, OKLA. – The City of Moore Parks and Recreation is pleased to be the host of International Conference, the Fitness MBA Summit. Traditionally held in Southern California, co-founder, Gary Warren, who is also an Oklahoma resident, wanted to something different for the 10th Anniversary. “We had some scheduling issues last year and wanted to do something that could accommodate everyone's schedule this time. I am here (Oklahoma) and my business partner is in California. In order for us to make it happen this year, I needed it to be close to home. The Station was the perfect venue for what we do. I'm grateful we were able to have it hosted here.”

Fitness MBA Summit is a continuing education live event featuring business education for fitness, sports, and wellness professionals. The 10th-anniversary fitness education classic will be hosted at the Station in Central Park. The Summit officially begins Friday, August 24th and runs to Saturday, August 25th.

Bringing business innovations for fitness, sports, and wellness professionals, the event has been designed to address key business topics (marketing, management, growth, technology) while also addressing innovation in exercise mechanics and programming. Presenters from all over the United States (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, OKC, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Stillwater, Tulsa, and Washington DC) as well as Toronto, Canada will be presenting.

International fitness education organizations, the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) have granted continuing education providership for professionals that need to update their respective credentials.
