I really like how Brooks mentioned that you don't have to have a website set up to start building your list. This gives me more motivation to work on my “freebie” and start building a list! That way I will have lots of contacts already when my site is ready.

I've been thinking about what I will use as my “freebie” and I started working on it tonight. Since my focus is women who say they don't know where to start, or don't know what to eat, etc. I though I would do a PDF download of “Top 10 Restaurant Survival Tips”… tips for how to make healthy choices and substitutions while dining out. Thoughts?

Kate – if that is your audience, I think that sounds perfect! No doubt you will capture people's attention with that freebie, so long, as you said, those are the people you are targeting.

I have a free circuit training ebook as my freebie right now for opt-in emails … However, I don't think EVERYONE needs, or even wants, to know about circuit training. I'm actually starting to work on my new freebie which is “10 Reasons Why You Are Not Losing Weight”. One of the biggest questions I get is “how do I lose “this” weight?” or “why am I not losing fat?”. These 10 reasons I will give them will address their problem and provide solutions. These were great lectures that really opened up my eyes to switch up my freemium.
